Abraham had been waiting a long time.
God had promised him land. Descendants. A legacy that would bless the whole world.
But standing in Genesis 15, Abraham looked around at his life and asked the question a lot of us have asked: Are you sure, God?
What he called God in that moment matters. He used Adonai — Master, Lord over all. It's the name you reach for when the promise feels impossible, and the timeline doesn’t make sense.
